Fine Sunday morning and the urge to make Chicken Soup.. good old thing for the soul and health.Needed :
- Chicken 200 gm(preferred with bone),
- Carrot 1 piece,
- Celery and Parsley few sticks,
- Onions 2,
- Garlic 6-7 pieces,
- Pepper powder,
- Butter,
- Salt,
- Boiled noodles or Pasta.
Making:
- In a big pot, add water.
- Then add chicken,half the carrots and onion.
- Some garlic and salt.
- Boil it for 1-3 hours on low heat and reduce the water to 1/3rd proportion.
- In another pan, saute onion,carrots,celery and parsley in butter and add pepper.
- Add the above mixture and the noodle(or pasta) in the chicken broth.
- Boil for another 5 minutes.
- Serve Hot.
Tips:
- The more you boil the chicken, the tastier the broth becomes.
- Pepper can be replaced with other herbs.
- Vinegar makes it taste better.
